2021 World Series of Poker Online Circuit Announced

The World Series of Poker and GGPoker have announced the 2021 schedule of online WSOP events. The event will start with the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series on Saturday 1st May and run through until Sunday 30th May. A total of 18 WSOP Circuit ring events will be held throughout the month with a WSOP Circuit gold ring being awarded to each winner.
Poker has suffered greatly from the impact of Covid 19 with casino’s still remaining shut all over the world. To combat 2020’s World Series of Poker Main Event being cancelled, the WSOP launched an online poker festival spanning two months which proved incredibly popular.
Building off the success of 2020’s event, 2021’s version looks set to contain bigger prizes with a whopping $100 million dollars guaranteed during the Super Circuit Online Series running in May.
The events will be open to international players via the GGPoker app, with players in the US being able to enter via WSOP.com. Stay tuned for all of the latest news and updates from The Super Circuit Online Series.

The World Series of Poker is the largest, richest and most prestigious gaming event in the world, having awarded more than $3.29 billion in prize money. Each winner has received a gold bracelet, globally recognized as the sport’s top prize. Featuring a comprehensive slate of tournaments in every major poker variation, the WSOP is poker’s longest-running tournament in the world, dating back to 1970.
Famous winners of WSOP’s main event include Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen, Joe Hachem and Chris Moneymaker.
2021’s Main Event is scheduled to take place between November 4th and November 17th with a decision yet to be made if it will officially go ahead due to the effects of Covid 19.
