I didn't like them either... Couldn't get into them... I have an original printing of the Stand. There are very few Kings stories I havent read, I own the entire Darktower series, but I just can't get into them. They musta been when he was SUPER high on crack. YOu know his favorite story to read is Cujo? Thats because he was so cracked out on coke that he doesn't even remember writing it.

If you love king, you gotta read The Long Walk. It's under his pseudonym, but its being marketed under his real name now. Probably the best king work I've read, of his shorter stuff. The only problem I have with the stand is the ending, to abrupt. Feels like he got tired writing it.

Hahah, I forgot about the ending. Yeah the ending SUCKED ASS, and it totallyyyyyy was like yeah.. he spent so much time writing he was just like "then they woke up and it was all a dream bye".. but even though th eending sucked.. it was still great.. man.. that was freaking epic...
