the way it looked to me is that you didn't like him talking about infinity, so you got into a pissing contest with him, and showed him you have more power than he does on this site. It looked to me like you were trying to end the conversation.

And I read all of the last 20 or so posts of his.

But I am just jealous because I am not a mod.

Never thought I would be ridiculed and mocked publicly because I care about the site enough to want to delete obvious spam posts as soon as I see them. Since I use the site from work, I am usually the first one to see them during the day. I never cared about trying to moderate regular discussions, or banning contributing members. I just wanted to help keep the site clean.

Being a mod is more work than most of you think. Between the, is this spam or isn't it crap we also have to deal with an occasional controversy like any real family does.

There is a very fine line to walk in these situations and cannot please all members. It comes down to doing the right thing for PFO in the longrun. My posts in the bankroll may seem harsh but they were meant as a warning to knock it off, and the way i warn people is to show them I mean buisness. I don't pull you aside and try to be nice about it, if you are getting out of line I am going to tell you. When it didn't work I basically gave Bonch an option of dropping it or getting banned for 3 days

I think this was worded fairly clear, he chose to be banned by responding. He knew it would happen or wanted to test my gumption. So at this point I have no choice but to follow through. Imagine a parent who continually threatens punishment but doesn't follow through, no authority.

I knew this would be a hotbed issue hence I created this thread when it happened.

I have also brought up to Bonch in a previous thread that there were complaints, nothing changed

intersting to see how the bonchman reacts. also i dont think i would wanna read bonches posts if they had more than 20 words, considering all his posts have little meaning. one member that will never face this problem is jason, now his posts are quality.

i think the do you see why thing was meant to make people think about it...i mean it seems kind of obtuse but...people do learn better when they think about things, rather than always just asking for help. i talked to bonch; he says that was his intention. not saying it couldn't have been worded better exactly, but i don't think the purpose was to piss anyone off either.

You told me you had no respect for me anymore, I fired back.

The site is clean, it is the cleanest poker forum on the net. Yes spam gets through, we are not robots checking every new post. But, all the mods and Kid do a good job of cleaning it out.

It is areas like this that make moderating difficult, moreso because I like Bonch, I like playing penny limits with him and occasionally talking on AIM with him. When he comes back I will have no hard feelings, if he does hopefully in time they will go away.

At some point, unfortunately, I have to make a difficult decision like this.

It is more than this. But, anytime I saw that it was done in a condescending way. Pointing out you are blatantly wrong and don't even know why.

Also Missy, I wasn't going to leave, just resign as a moderator.

I think a lot of you forget this was a 3-day ban... to give bonch some time to rethink of some of his recent actions here on the forum.. it is not a permenant ban.
