Well I've finally finished wrapping up the design for the forum. It's a pretty big change so I wanted to give everyone a heads up. If you notice the site looking totally different in the next few days, you'll know why.

yup, testing it tonight and it should be live within a few days. It's not going to be green anymore though ;-)

Are you the new owner of PokerForums.org? The site has completely died in the past year, what are you doing to fix it?

Hey George, yes I am the new owner. Some of the things I am working on include the new design. Less advertising. More forum moderation to cut down on spammers (very important). Members will have their own blogs if they want. I will also be going through and re-ordering the forums at the very least. Not sure what you guys' opinion is on that, but to me it seems like a poker discussion forum should be focused on strategy, hand reviews, and understanding the game.

Paying attention to detail and putting work into this site is all it needs. It's just been sitting stagnant for so long.
