He's not that hard to guess, but really there are a lot of high-limit pro coaches, he's just the most well known.

I'm more curious about these "online pros" and if I personally know a few of them.

Sounds really nice! But from the sound to the actual content there is a step. Youll need to prove that the service is gonna worth the while. There are a lot of couaching sites already.

That's true. Good value too.
I think what might make our merger different from the other sites is that there will be more of a direct communication with the pros. In addition to the normal videos, the pros will actually interact with members here on the forum and provide analysis on hands and such.
Now, we can't expect them to reply to every post or anything, but it'd still be nice to occasionally talk to a top online pro or celebrity pro.

Hey,
Unfortunately, after a bunch of negotiating, this possible deal fell through. The main contact I was dealing with on all the details and everything pitched our idea to the two co-owners of a giant online monopoly (of which the training site falls underneath the umbrella of), and they didn't feel comfortable with having their pros post on our forums, since they have their own forums.
We threw back and forth a lot of different scenarios on how we could work together and came very close to finding a viable solution, but in the end I just didn't feel comfortable with the proposed changes.

Since that fell through, are there any other ideas on the horizon to breathe some life into this place?

Wouldnt mind paying but 1$ a day is a bit pricey. I pay 50$ a year for AAA roadside assistance, and the same for a gym membership lol. Like the poll says tho, convince me we're getting something valuable out of this. If this place ended up being a legitimate COMMUNITY like it used to, id consider it. More activity would be nice plus all the additives soon to maybe come into this. What will be included?

$1 a day, it's okay price depending on the level of coaching you get, considering that some coaches take $1200 per hour, so $1 is okay for me , could easily steal a blind per day to learn from the pros, my friend currently teaches me at live poker, he is a dealer and used to help Sam tricket when he first started out....
Back to the point, If it comes up again I'll pay 1 a day
