i was just kinda thinking about this
i was like
" do i wanna go to pfo and read real people"
or "do i wanna go to cardrunners or 2p2 where they just kiss each others asses and post meaningless shit"
I think freerolls would be a good idea to drive traffic to the site, but of course those same ppl who post over at those sites would find their way here...so completes the endless cycle. Or you could drive the free rolls for those posters who post 100 posts in a week or something like that to drive discussions...Meaningful discussions that is...
I like our site I like the guys who post here (except kr8r) and yes the left side does need to be cleaned up a tad... it looks real forced "imo"

Somewhere between tournaments and hand replayer.
Tournaments would be good just because of creating a community.
Hand Replayer would be good for community to be able to analyze hands.iif u raise my raise one more ****ing time i will come over there and slit ur throat

I would say it needs more small-mid stakes players in general for better discussion. Not too many like some other sites have, but some! That wasn't really an option in the poll so I said bigger stake/well known players.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Also the ability to post without waiting 10 mins and having a duplicate every time!

freerolls will bring in degens, and free money players who will add nothing to the forum.
I voted news/articles since this will increase our traffic, not everyone sets about looking for a poker forum, they may simply be looking for some strategy or tips. Hopefully, this leads them to the forum. I think it will also keep the site current, so when people click on the left they don't think the site is outdated or poorly managedRead my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

true
i thought the PFO poker series that thealex had set up was fun and was creating community amoungst players. when everyone was playing, people started chatting and getting to know each other.
i would like to see a weekly/ monthly pfo tourny along with a summer/winter series.
maybe a freeroll every once in a blue moonf*cking it up for everyone else since 1969.
