This is just a little heads up that I (and I think the other mods) are going to get a hell of alot tougher on non-contributive/pointlessly off-topic/flaming type posts. There's been too much of it going on recently and one such person has already been banned for a day because of it (I suspect more will follow).

Before anyone comes back saying there isn't any decent poker discussion going on here, I have some advice for you:

START SOME DISCUSSION YOURSELF! There has to be something about the game you aren't sure about or you want to discuss, if not then you shouldn't be here in the first place. Go to gen strategy forum and reply to one of the many recent threads started which are a base for good discussion.

Anyhoo, rant over.

There isn't nearly as many good strat threads/posts though as several years ago, and banning members won't improve that, imho. Most disappointing (for me) is the MTT/STT section, which has essentially died with Alex gone (and TA rarely posting).

and people wont be banned for not talking about poker....nobody can or will force anyone to talk about poker. However, members will get infraction points for making bs posts in real threads.....if they continue doing this, they will continue to get infraction points which leads to a tempban for them.

You are right. I do not need to respond at all to such posts. I should simply ignore them and let the mods handle it however they see fit.

He is just like a big gay luck boxx who likes to post pointless pics and ruin threads kuz he thinks its funny. Ping, on the other hand is very contributive and helps in any way he can which is very respectable.
