PFO $300 Referral Contest
May 21st - June 21st

That's right! We're holding a little PFO contest with $300 in prize money. Here's your opportunity to both help build the community as well as have a chance at winning some cash.

This contest is different from our last one in that it is for referrals only. The minimum qualifications are slightly harder to reach, but the individual prizes are also larger as well

Top Referrals

For each member you refer to the site that registers, you'll receive credit for referring. View this link to see the top referrers and to get the your referral URL. Only refer quality members; that is, do not attempt to get your friends to sign up just to rack up points. Signing up friends is fine as long as you think they'd be a good contribution to the site.

Requirements:

You are not to spam other sites or people in any way, doing so will forfeit your eligibility in the contest. Referrers must be legitimate referred members and must genuinely be interested in the site and not incentivized in any way. In addition, your referrals must make a combined total of at least 50 non-spammed posts.


Contest Rules:

By entering this contest, you agree or understand:

• The contest will run from May 21st, 2007 at 4:00 PM and end on June 21st, 2007 at 4:00 PM Pacific time.
• Payment will be made via PayPal. We may be able to pay via other methods such as through PokerStars, Neteller, or another e-wallet if possible, but expect to be paid via PayPal.
• That you have read and agreed to the forum rules before participating on the forum.
• In the case of a vote to determine a winner, members on the ballot must not ask friends or referred members to vote due to conflict of interest, nor incentivize anybody to vote for them.
• The administrator may revoke points from members or disqulify members due to behavioral, disciplinary, or due to other issues at his discretion.

FAQ:

How am I supposed to compete with existing members who already have hundreds or thousands of posts or referrals?

Only posts or referrals that are made during the contest timeframe will be counted. Please rest assured that the contest administrator can view such statistics.

It's not that hard, if you sign up only 15 people, that's an average of 3 posts each would have to make...

I was not impressed w/ your 16 refferals.

If any1 wants to make a bet; I would do this:

over under for 1 month: 20 referrals (each w/ 3 posts). I would bet 100$ that I could do this in 30 days.

if i refer 20 ppl and each one has 3 posts, I get 100. If i do not achieve thie (less) you get 100.

I have no idea who I would refer. The reason I play online is because no one I know plays poker.

When you're at the tables playing, you could mention the forum as long as it's not too 'spammy'. And get them to write ur username when they sign up, as who referred you, that should work I think..

You mean on Pokerstars?

Should I recommend it while playing 320 play money tables or $1.20 real money tables?
