Default I will coach you for free

Aight, I have been reading some HH's and some river rat sections, and some ppl just don't get the basics.

So I am going to do a 100 hand history review for a player, + a 30 minute live AIM session.

Prerequisites:
  • You play NL50 or lower
  • You do not have a win rate that exceeds 3bb/100
  • You play 6 max or 10 handed cash games
  • You play on a popular site (ie peak population is like over 10k)

Me: I play NL30, and NL50 cash games on FT. I am not as great at NL50 as some of the regulars, but I am 99% sure I am the best player on Full Tilt's NL30 (deep) game (amongst the regulars). Playing deep just makes so much more sense to me.

What I will do:

review a 100 hand session for you. Maybe two 50 hand sessions. No less hand plz. Cash game transcript plz, not MTT or SNG. (You sen it, I will comment on every hand, even ones you fold PF)

Watch you play for 30 minute session (this can be an SNG* (up to 10$ BI) or cash (nl2-nl50), no MTT plz (unless your really suck)), coaching you throughout (only if the site allows it, I am sure most sites do).

*I'll prolly watch the whole SNG just b/c ill feel like an asshole if I quit midway

So if you play from .01-.02 to .25-.50 I can help.

Disclaimer for the AIM sessions: I will not refund you money @ NL10+ If I say "bluff this river" and the dude calls you. However, I doubt we will be bluffing alot. If I coach you at NL10 or less, and you lose money, I will refund 50%.

I will only refund to UB, FT, and PS accounts.

I will not refund any money for any SNGs.

Note: I am doing this b/c I am bored, and think I can really help you out if you are struggling. An intimate approach like this, I think, will help in a different way than posting on forum. I also think I will gain knowledge from doing it, so I help myself as well as you.

If you play NL25+ decently, you will obv not gain as much as a fish @ NL5, so Ideally I want to help a total donkey, but I am not sure there are a lot of them here.

Also, plz have some sort of bankroll. Otherwise my help will be useless.
Also, also, I will not help anyone with under 50 posts in this forum.

Just post in this thread if you want some help. I will pick 1 person. How I will pick? IDK, some random number thing or something.

BTW if I don't pick you, not a big deal b/c I am not all that great anyway, so don't cry.

That is a good proposition for any new,low stakes players on this forum. I wouldn't mind someone looking over a 100 hand session of mine and commenting. Like you say it's much more useful than looking at a single hand in isolation.

Just out of interest gder - why only on popular sites?

Next month I might be bored too, and could offer some SnG coaching, low and medium stakes.

I'm trying to get more serious about cash games so I don't have to worry about how badly I run in PF all in situations.

I play NL25, I don't know how you perceive my play from what you've seen but I'm interested in having someone watch a whole series of hands and analysing.

Gder, ive been playing the .15/.30 (deep) games on FTP for the last few days and honestly im stuggling alittle bit. I dont know if its the change of sites, change of limits, or the deep aspect, but something isnt working out to well.

Im a winning long run player, yes, but honestly i have some major leaks in my cash game that i havnt been able to identify or patch. I dont really know whats wrong with me but i have been struggling in cash alot recently, and ive wanted a coach but A) i dont really know where to look and B) i dont really want to pay someone very much to do so.

Id be very interested in having you live rail a 2 table session of NL .15/.30 on FTP with me while advising me of hands instead of just sending you a log. I learn much better when im walked through the process.

If after the one session i liked it alot and saw it helping, if you would be interested, id like to set up some kind of payment/% of winnings and continue with the coaching. I dont know, well see how it goes if you want.

Just let me know if your interested

If Gder doesnt pick me, if someone else reads this (who knows they are good) and would like to help please PM me

I was talking about that ass hole with 7 posts and that other one with 2 posts.

Well for the live lesson, you will need like at least 2 buy ins.

(so if you play NL10, 20$) or 1-2 buy in for the SNG (maybe 3 if we do a HU sng).

However the main point is; A key part of poker is not the strategy, but the bankroll management.

On full tilt the lowest they have is 5$ buy in. So you would need like 10$. However if you want to play seriously in the future, and try to build the money up so you can play higher stakes, you wil need a good BR. I would say 25 buy ins at a level is the lowest. so for you epic, I owuld say you'd need to have around 125$.

However many ppl can play with less BR, (like only 10 buy ins). IT really is up to the individual, and how he/she plays.

I will let this thread ferment, so that everyone has a chance to see it. Maybe in 5 or 6 days I will pick a winner.
