Forum Back Up!

PokerForums.org was down for around 8 hours today. I just woke up (9pm here, sleep schedule wacked) and received some PM's notifying me that something was wrong. I quickly went to work trying to fix it, and the site is now fully functioning again.

I apologize greatly for this occurance (it happened from a little technical error I made when installing the latest software yesterday). The bad news is that the site was down for some time. The good news is that I think we really have a good community here when I wake up to several horrified people private messaging me

I think it is a good reminder just how much we use this site and are a community.

Aren't you glad you know it was a server problem and not your own computer that was having trouble? Aren't you also glad to understand that the problem was isolated and fixed?

I had a pretty good idea it wasn't just my computer when I talked to Beav and saw he was getting the problem. And I had a pretty good idea the problem was isolated and fixed when I was able to see threads again.

I checked my settings to see if I'd set it to "Only show posts from the last 5 seconds" or something similar while drunk.
