    We are now #3 for the keywords "poker forums" on Google - #1 being 2+2 and #2 some unknown site..

    Google did one of their quartly updates today so I'm busy checking all my sites and stuff for Google Page Ranking and rank position etc.

    We may even make it to #2 next quarter

    Hopefully this will bring in a few more posters here too

    Btw, do you guys have costs associated with running the boards?

    I can't find a section re: overhead...

    Welcome to the site Diggler,

    I'm glad to see that our newfound ranking is having an effect

    There is really no overhead in running PokerForums as I own my own dedicated server, already purchased the full license for the software the site runs on, and I don't spend any money on advertising.

    Our sister site, PokerLedger.com on the other hand costs a lot of money, but only because I'm investing my money into it trying to build it up.

    Ok ok, I'm just not about using something for free, ESPECIALLY if it's a one man crew supporting things...you guys spend a lot of time on here, and have answered all of my questions in less than 1/2 a day...Very Cool.

    I'm gonna head to that site, and check it out...Thx Again...

    when i type poker forums into google pokerforums.org is the 2nd thing that comes up

    Ah - that may be because of the regional-specific google sites (ie. .ca for canada, etc.). That's even better then
