I know PF.O has quite a few forums already, but I think it needs one more.
A casino Forum. Where players can ask questions about casinos, BM or Online. Also, I have noticed that we here have this penchant for sniffing out deals at online sites. And a couple of our moderators are Spam Nazis (j/k), and some of would like to read this spam. Maybe a designated Place as such would be a good idea?

Hmm.. I may be open to a forum for discussion on BM/Real life play since it differs so much from that of online..
As for a designated section for spam - that's playing with fire man..

I am of the feeling that spam is defined by the user that posts it. Beavis' Absolute Poker post was cool and The Poker Camp's post was actually kind of funny. Especially how he said that Esfandiari was his favorite poker player in a seperate thread.
When people make posts in several forums on PF.org that are exactly the same and seem to have to intent on contributing to discussion, I'll delete it and send a PM to them asking them to contribute.
I've seen some deals that I've left, but I think that I've done a good job with discriminating spam from a good offer. Anything relating to deals with sites that advertise on PF.org will deleted if the poster is looking for a referral bonus because that takes away from the revenue of PF.org.

The problem though with creating a section openly for spammers is that you've only seen a minute FRACTION of the spammers out there. Creating a safe haven for them would be like lighting a spam flare, and then all the spammers would flock here and be jolly and merry.
Discussion on other poker rooms is perfectly fine if it is being openly discussed or even 'endorsed' by members of the forum, but when members post in the sole purpose of advertising their own site or a referral ID in the hopes of free traffic, that is uncalled for.

I dont think a seperate Live/Online forums are neccesary. That can be easily noted in each post what you are referring to. I was just suggestion a place to put non-spam, but still advertising style posts. Dunno. Just an idea.
And trust me, I would never recommend a safe haven for spammers. Theres a reason most of us have multiple Email address's. One for our friends, adn one for the rest of the world.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
