    Default Euchre

You are the dealer, Your team is losing 7 to 4

    You get dealt

    The up card is the

It is passed to you, Do you pick it up and go for the sweep or pass and hope it gets passed around and you can take diamonds?

My dilema is that If you pick it up, discard the , you have a better chance of sweeping than if you play the guranteed point.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

I pass in a heartbeat. We need big points, I'm going to gamble and hope we end up with a red trump suit. The worst that can happen is spades gets called up before it gets back to you, and even then you have the best card.

I pick it up. It's pratically impossible to get both points in hearts/diamonds. You wont euchre in spades(which is really the only thing that will get called) Two suited LKQ with an ace looks purrty good to me.

I guess it depends on whether your partner tapped his left index finger against his beer twice quickly, paused, then tapped it twice quickly again to let you know that he's got all clubs and spades and was hoping your opponents would pick it up but since they didn't, you should pick it up so you can run the hand...
