The Jets would be better off with Leinart anyway, Pennington is done.

he had 2 decent years.
With the arm injury he is done though. He didn't have much of an arm to begin with, more of a dink and dunk guy, now I would definetly be looking around for a QB. I did alot of thinking last night and the Jets need Reggie Bush more then any team.
Curtis Martin is done maybe has 1 more season in him so, The Jets have a talented team depsite there record this year and I think everyone in the NFL knows it. Huston sucks and why would reggie bush want to go to Houston when they have the worst offensive Line I ever seen?
Why would Houston even want him the line wont make any wholes for him to run through and next year David Carr is gonna be sacked 3-4 times every game. Houston doesnt have a promising season anytime in the near future so if they Draft Bush they need to get rid of him asap for a good deal that a few teams will be offering.Last edited by ChieF; 12-12-2005 at 11:34 AM.

While on the subject of football, Kyle Orton is pathetic and if the bears had a half decent Qb with a running game I dont see any team beating them.

I usually reserve my accusations of game throwing for the NBA when the Knicks make the playoffs, but that kick by Houston was so awful I really think he may have been told to miss it. The name of their kicker escapes me right now (used to kick for PIT I believe), but he is not horrible. Even if he was, nobody is that bad.

like i said, total fucking bullshit.
i was talking to my dad about it last night and he said he doesn't think it's bush that the jets need. i disagreed, but he pointed out they have an old line and they really need help there more than anywhere. he said he doesn't think brooks bollinger is necessarily pro-bowl material, but that he could step in and get things done, especially if he had time to throw.
i personally think they're awful and are going nowhere, and the rebuilding process will take longer than i care to watch. i'd prefer it if they blew up the team so i could root for someone else.
