Even if the US somehow gets through a tough group they will most likely have to play Brazil or possibly, if they win their group Australia, Croatia, or Japan.

I like the netherlands chances. they should be able to come out of their group and there match would most likely be Mexico or possibly Portugal in the elimination round

France's national team is on a downslide and Germany has no chance against an upper echelon team, way too many holes on both those teams in my opinion.

I forsee a final eight as:

    Germany
    Brazil
    England
    Sweden
    Italy
    Portugal
    Argentina
    Spain

Brazil are the favourites, and honestly, I can't see germany picking up many games here, unless they really dig in deep.

I'm gonna go with england vs brazil final, although we always have problems with sweden, I think we can beat anyone else except brazil.

5 million people watch the NCAA bracket announcement

70 million people watch the superbowl

350 million watched the seedings for the world cup. Time for America to realize shit goes on beyond our borders.

Every other country in the world cannot be wrong in thinking Soccer is a great sport

I know about soccer Steve, due to playing my whole life. I think we discussed this in another thread, and we agreed on the Netherlands.

    Croatia is a dangerous team.
