    Will he pass Gordie Howe on the wings all time point list???

    He 'only' needs 88 points in 82 (?) games....

    thats 2 seasons for Yzerman at this point in his career IMO. although if the wings are running away with the division (which is usual) they might feed him a lot more opportunities to score and be involved in late game situations he might otherwise sit out. Possible but in my opinion less than 50/50.

    I'll set the odds at 3 to 2 against. be interesting to keep this updated throughout the season.

    Dont want to say Steve Y is not a great player anymore, 88 is a lot of points!!!

    The rules would have to change big time to allow him to score more than 1PPG.

    got to things to say!...

    yay hockey's back... I was soooooooo bitter last yr cuz of the lockout

    and yay to the wings building a good team... ossy signed backed on too for a contract
