    The Olympics will take place 30 miles from my house in Stratford

    I'm so glad its not in France. I couldn't believe they were the frontrunners with their recent political stances (not just the US situation but they are like the black sheep of the EU, they disagree just for the sake of disagreeing).

    I'm an olympics junkee, so I'll probably make the trip across the pond. So maybe I'll see you in 7 years!!!

    I have nothing against the French but as Eddie Izzard (english comedian) says "they can be... well... Fucking French sometimes."

    NYC was in the running, but giving the current political temperature of the planet, I didn't honestly think it would take place in NYC. I was thinking Madrid. I'm really surprised that it was London, I've heard the weather sucks there...

    i think its be cool for Moscow to have gotten it
