Had my addiction with online games and with my free time I just might end up like that Korean guy who died from too much WOW , so no thanks to MMOs.
Also heard there's a market for characters , so it could be a business mixed with pleasure , just like poker .

World of Warcraft is such a WASTE of time. How many clicks? How many hours? for what? to become stronger in a world of nerds. Not the intelligent ones.

Your time is your life. You get one life, limited time. Spend as much of it as you can engaged in productive activities, but yes you should have fun (and lots of it) too. No one will ever look back and wished they played more WoW. You could get a degree, masters, phd in the time some people spend on these involved games. Haven't touched it in loonnng time. Last winter, after it had been over a year, I got an urge to play and had a couple free weekends. Rather than paying to fire up the old subscription, I started a 10 day demo trial. I was done with my new lvl 2x char before the 10 days and got back to life.
And before anyone asks or offers, I dont care that Cataclysm is comming out."People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, they make them." - George Bernard Shaw

It's pretty much what caused me to stop playing poker, that and I got bored with cards. 300k+ hands over a couple years will do that. I'm glad I did, met some friends. Been away for a while now, not sure If I plan on going back soon.
And i'd be willing to lay even money there are more WoW players than cash players online right now.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
Luck is a Residue of Design.
