i can understand what you guys are saying about ronaldo, rooney etc.I'm English and i can admit that messi is easily the best player at the moment based on current form.no contest.

I still think Xavi is one of the best around though the yanks prob don't know who he is.

I only know/knew of like 3 soccer players ever. Pele, Beckham cause they made a huge stir when he came over to the states, and Zidane cause of that headbutt. So the above comment is pretty spot on.

I like Cristiano Ronaldo from Portugal too, he makes show and scores.

for me, the best football player is Kaka, but Ronaldinho and CR7( Cristiano Ronaldo ) are very good too...
