Its a topic thats been brought up in my family as well so I thought I'd ask the rest of you. Everyone has a 'team', for at least one sport. I am curious as to if most of you are fans of that 'team' because of tradition/location, or if you truly believe that team straight up murders people. In other words, if you are a Yanks fan, are you a yanks fan because ur from New York or maybe its just been a family team for generations, or do you like that team for the player's and their honest team playing abilities. Anyways... GO PATS!

im a Man Utd fan because my father/grandfather/whole family before me were massive fans and cos they had the interesting/intriguing/sad history which i loved reading about when i was a kid.

some of my earlier memories were of them being the whipping boys of english football; the massive club that never won anything.

i imagine the generations before me were fans was because they always had a strong link to ireland.

im also a Celtic fan cos they too have massive irish links.

for some reason, in yankee football, i tend to like the Eagles and also have a soft spot for the Bears
