Oh bugger it. Dave, you're Scottish right? I don't want to get it wrong now or I'll look a right cock so you better not be Welsh.

Well I come from Chicago, I am of course a Bears fan and a football fan. I can be completely honest with you that at first I thought you guys that were from Europe were being completely biased saying rugby is cool and the nfl is crap...etc..etc...then I thought and said...they never even gave it a chance...watch it..or anything and they are dissing it? Then...I thought and used my brain for a second and realized..wait a minute..I have the exact same opinion of rugby...I don't acknowledge it as a real sport because it just isn't mainstream here in the states and isn't seen. So rather then ranting and raving on how I think the NFL is > Rugby or Soccer...I will just keep my peace and respect the fact that I truly have just about as much clue on how in depth and competitive Rugby may be...as you guys know about the NFL. One thing I can say is Europeans seem to be ALOT more open minded to encouraging new sports that are mainstream here in the states...then we Americans are to giving sports that are mainstream over there a chance here. And judging by how you guys feel about the NFL's latest push of US teams/games to Europe..thats saying ALOT! lol

I think the Americans are forgetting about the big fat guys involved in NFL. I'm not sure what their position is called but they just stand there and block. They are as athletic as my grandmother!

I seriously think the rugby guys could teach the NFL guys a thing or two about tackling. Some of it is absolutely terrible. I don't watch it much so maybe it's just me but they always go for the big shoulder block thinking they look way cool, when taking the legs is far more effective.
