1st Beckham Game
OK.. did anyone watch the LA Galaxy vs. Chelsea game?
That was the most ridiculous display of soccer (football) I have ever seen. What is up with the Beckham cam? If this is what soccer is going to be like in the US.. I'm boycotting it. It's crap.

Chelsea are a good team but they bore the hell out of me sometimes. And Beckham is injured so I wouldn't expect too much out of him yet.
LOL at Beckham cam, did he actually do anything?

I can't imagine Americans getting very excited about a game which finishes 1-0.
They should play 6 a side indoor "soccer" on a basketball court if they want to crack the US market.

There is a large Latino population in the USA. Soccer will be popular, but it will take a long time.

They sure did hype up the first Beckham game enough. Funny that he is playing injured on the first game out with all of the publicity.

I busy starring at the wall.
Although since beckham played, I did watch a segment on it on ESPN for about 4 seconds.

La Galaxy are BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD and it will take a lot more than Beckham to make them good.
