Vinatieri's kick in the "snow bowl" game. Blizzard conditions at the stadium (therefore also at my house since I'm 10 miles away) me and friend have drinking contest bet on game.

Rules: every score you do a shot. Once the game started and we realized there would be little scoring it quickly deteriorated into every punt, 2 yard gain, etc...

Needless to say after 22 shots and with the Pats moving on we went out, in a car, piss drunk, in the blizzard, to celebrate at the local dive bar (great place to pick up 35 year old divorcees).

Anyway the rest of the night was even crazier, which led to 3 other terrific stories which I'll save for another time......

Helicopter Sunday, 22nd May 2005. Last day of the Scottish footy season (lived in Scotland for about 15 years in case my location confuses ) and Rangers pip Celtic to the league title thanks to 2 goals in the last minute from a self-confessed Celtic fan. Oh so sweet, I was so so drunk that night!
