Draft: Sun Nov 5 6:15pm CST
No other evening times were available to draft and that was fun when we did it for the NFL, so we're starting a few days after the season starts. Note that the time is CENTRAL TIME and I'll bump this thread around 6:00 PM.
Daily lineups suck for fantasy, IMO, so I set it up for weekly lineups and our weeks are from Sun.-Sat. I also set it up for fairly large rosters like the football league. That keeps it more competitive through the season.

I'm "Piston Fuckers" because I used to actually think they were the "Detroit Piston Fuckers" because I remember those 2 years they knocked the Bulls out of the playoffs before the Bulls started their run and my Dad used to refer to them as "those Piston fuckers."

It isn't default.
Minutes (0.25)
FT Attempts (-0.25)
FT Made (0.5)
3PT Attempts (-0.25)
3PT Made (1)
Pts. (1)
O. Rebounds (.75)
D. Rebounds (.5)
Assists (1.25)
Steals (2.5)
Blocks (2.5)
Turnovers (-1)
Any Suggestions? Here's what's available:
Games Played (GP)
Games Started (GS)
Minutes Played (MIN)
Field Goals Attempted (FGA)
Field Goals Made (FGM)
Free Throws Attempted (FTA)
Free Throws Made (FTM)
3-point Shots Attempted (3PTA)
3-point Shots Made (3PTM)
Points Scored (PTS)
Offensive Rebounds (OREB)
Defensive Rebounds (DREB)
Total Rebounds (REB)
Assists (AST)
Steals (ST)
Blocked Shots (BLK)
Turnovers (TO)
Personal Fouls (PF)
Times Fouled Out (DISQ)
Technical Fouls (TECH)
Ejections (EJCT)
Flagrant Fouls (FF)
Thinking of taking rebounds out and adding +(.75) for O. Rebounds and +(.5) for D. Rebounds. Also adding -(.25) for FG Attempts and +(.5) for FG Made. I really don't like penalizing fouls and rewarding Games Played and Starts. Minutes, Rebounds, and Blocks have those weights to counter for the disparity between top tier and 2nd tier big men. Same reason for penalizing turnovers. The Guards that score the most turn the ball over a bit and this equalizes them with the "Quarterback Point Guards" enough so having Dirk Nowitzski, Gilbert Arenas, Allen Iverson, or Baron Davis doesn't seal the deal for you. The bigger rosters help here, too.

so if the value is (0.5) this means;
Ray allen sinks 4 three pointers in a game you multiply by .5? so 4x(.5)=2? or are you adding .5 to each 3 pointer so 4+2?
I dont get the system.
I dont really care how points are destributed, I just want to know how point modefier system works so I can make correct draft choicesI get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

Example:
Ray Allen sink 4 3's in 9 attempts from beyond the arch in a game where he scores 29. He gets:
9 * -.25 = -2.25
4 * .5 = +2
29 * 1 = +29
His scoring gets you 28.25 pts. Guys like Allen shoot 3's in bulk and I thought this would help with %'s since the rosters are so big and give the SG's a bit on the big-men who can rack up a ton of pts. with boards, blocks, and FT's.
I'm thinking to just give the 3's made a full point. It's a good point that I didn't think of. Allen would get penalize for being a 3pt-shooter. I was mainly thinking of the Bryant's who hit 120 3s but have %'s under 40%. Their bonus come merely in pts. scored. I don't think this'll be an uneven advantage because even if these players are your scoring core, they score in bunches and have hot/cold streaks.
We have until the draft to modify the scoring system, so whatever else anyone has to add or ask, it'll clarify in making for a draft where depth matters, but superstars aren't penalized. The importance of the hi% 3pt shooters is that they're bench guys for the most part and the fact that their 3's are more clutch, I feel they should a little extra for that.
