About LinkBacksHaven't been around PFO much lately - got baseball fever. Anybody catch game 2 of DET vs. NYY? Unbelievable game. Joel Zumaya mowing through the 7th and 8th inning was one of the most impressive pitching performances I have ever seen. Struck out Jeter, Giambi and A-Rod, throwing up to 103 mph. The guy is only 22 yrs. old. I love this Tigers team!

Joe Girardi's a Chicago guy. He was the team captian for years. Obvious choice as manager. He's learned under Joe Torre at the end of his career when he was on the Yankee roster, but really a protege under Torre. What he did in Florida last year was pretty amazing, IMO with a $15 million payroll of rag-tags. Originally Posted by MTdemocrat

The Marlins owner is a complete dick! Firing Girardi was a ridiculous move. Everyone knows he rather take the franchise to San Antonio anyway as Broward County wont help them build there own stadium.
