Will start this one early this week to get some feedback on my picks.
6-2 last week for NFL
2-3 last week for CFB
8-5 total
Not too great, but I am happy with my NFL results.
Anyways... looking at some early lines.
Indianapolis -13.0 at Houston
Indianapolis will crush them. They are still one of the best teams in the league and Houston is... well... Houston. I'll probably lay a bit on this one.
NY Giants +3 at Philadelphia
Is there something I am missing here? Why are the Giants the underdog in this game? Philadelphia isn't better than them. I'm so confused about this.
Arizona at Seattle -7
Well.. they are at home this time. Hopefully they will score a touchdown this time.
Kansas City +11.0 at Denver
+11? Denver isn't that good...
Will look at more later

Early College Picks
I want something for Thursday so I am thinking of laying down some cash on
Maryland at West Virginia -16.5
West Virginia usually scores 40+ against teams that aren't that good. Maryland is a team who isn't that good. Me win money.
Kansas +5 at Toledo
I can see Kansas winning outright in this game.
Wake Forest at Connecticut -6.0
I think this game will be a blowout. Wake Forest beat Duke by 1 point... and Duke should stick to basketball.
Michigan at Notre Dame -7
Notre Dame looks great this year and I don't think 7 points is that much of a stretch. Liking this pick.
LSU at Auburn -3.5
I think this line should be atleast 6 or 7. Guess I'll put some money on it then.
Florida -3.5 at Tennessee
Their offence is pretty good...
Well that looks good for now, I'll probably start laying down the money on Wednesday.

yeah, i think you have to take NYG getting 3. i think they will win outright easily. that doesn't make sense that philly is the fav.
i'm taking IND as well, refuse to bet a seattle game out of protest for what they did last week, and for the KC pick, they are without trent green, so i don't think i will touch that game, either.
as for other games:
STL -3 v SF -- gotta take st. louis by more than three. the 49ers are the 49ers and stl looked good this past week. stephen jackson will tear SF up.
TB v ATL -5.5 -- atlanta at home versus the team that just got shut out by the ravens and will get beat up with atl's running attack.

For starters they're at the Linc. Second, the Eagles play very similar to the Colts. Lost of screens, dumps, and an aerial onslaught. The Giants run defense is strong, that's a given, but their secondary is overrated. Did you watch the Manning Bowl? The Giants had three interceptions IN THEIR HANDS and let them go. It was on plays when Peyton had to force because of his pocket collapsing but McNabb can roll out and make things happen.
An array of weapons in Westbrook, Buckhalter, Brown, Stallworth, and Smith set up for single coverages all over the field. Their offense will do just as well, if not better than the Colts did.
Eli's got skills but when there's pressure and his pocket breaks down, he looks for Burress. And when that happens, Manning simply throws it up. Burress made Manning look great with his two circus catches but with Dawkins or Lewis knocking Plax into next Tuesday, he might not be pulling it down quite so easily.
I'm not saying the Giants won't play a solid game, because they have a good amount of weapons too, but Eli still looks raw and if this year goes like last, Burress won't even bother showing up to this game.
Eagles 31-24 over the Giants.
The only thing that could turn this around is Lito Sheppard being OUT. Hood will fill in nicely though against Toomer.
I'm not putting money on this game though as I've been an Eagles fan for 14 years. Too much emotion on this one.BOSS

I would say these teams are evenly matched so the 3 points is simply the home field points. This isn't last years philly team.NY Giants +3 at Philadelphia
Is there something I am missing here? Why are the Giants the underdog in this game? Philadelphia isn't better than them. I'm so confused about this.
Philly's offense is better than NYG, there defense is worse, and their special teams is better
Philly had a cakewalk last week, NYG had a tough game I'd take philly if I had to pick, personally I would stay away from this game
No, they aren't. However, KC is that bad, especially minus trent green. Look for Denver to put 8 in the box all day and win in a route.Kansas City +11.0 at Denver
+11? Denver isn't that good...
KC lost the best offensive coordinator and it showed, LJ did squadush as did the rest of the offense. And we know they are going to give up 21+ on defense. KC was all offense, and now they have noneRead my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog
