Some background: The columnist, Bill Simmons "The Sports Guy", is a very popular sports writer here in the states. In recent years he has developed a huge cult following. He isn't a traditional sports writer, as he incorporates lots of pop culture and humor into his work.
Anyway, he decided to become a soccer fan after watching the world cup and gave himself the task of adopting an English Premier team to follow as his favorite soccer team. The article is a summary of his thoughts on each team and his reasoning behind picking a favorite. Hope you enjoy it.
