    Default Slow played and lost

I checked the turn thinking that I could enduce a bluff on the river or value bet if his hand improved... What is the correct play?

Can't really fault your play. The Flop call may be debatable, but not that much.

But to question the hand based on results is like, as Beavis used to say, Looking for monsters under the bed.

Could you really ever expect to river a set there? 4.35% chance? No. At worst I'd be thinking chop. Especially when you choose to not 3 bet the river, just on the off chance you are beat, take what you can and go home.

And start changing the color of the results to white, so we aren't biased, we cna then mouse over it to see: LIKE THIS!!!!!

Sorry, I will change the results, in future, to remove bias. My bad... I didn't think about that.

You could also leave out the results entirely. Part of the fun of reviewing hand histories is trying to guess the hand and seeing if you're right. Also, when there's members who consistently guess the hand you were up against in their review, you know they know their poker.

In theory, this is a good move against a player that will take a shot as you're likely way ahead or chopping and if he doesnt have an A, hes probably folding the turn anyway.

Is this guy the type that will ever have a stab at a checked pot though? As he only limped with 99 in the CO 5 handed and only minbet his rivered boat, I'd take a stab at saying that you had the right idea but the wrong opponent to try it out on.

horrible river. It seems that you did the right thing. I think he had like a 4% chance of hitting that on the river so... there is nothing much to do against that

    better luck next time
