Horrible. Can someone do some maths on that one? Anyone got SNG Wiz they can check it with? I think I fold.

I don't use SNG Wiz anymore. It's good in the beginning to learn, but will stunt you long-term IMO.

I actually had an interesting response to this, that a few people vaguely agreed with.

My thoughts here were to open raise, and I'd raise to 1200. I'd do this with the intention of calling off the shortstacks, but folding to the reg gamer77777 and the blinds. The reason why I like this play vs. shoving or folding, is because my perceived range is much narrower since it's obviously I'll have to flip my hand up in case one of the short stacks shove. Theoretically, I need to have a slightly stronger hand to open here.

The other reason why I open here is because even if I have to fold and give up 1200 chips, worse case scenario is that I go from 1st to 2nd in chips.

A lot of people don't like an open (they think push or fold, as most unimaginative SNG grinders would), because we're so close to 10bigs and they don't want to deal with being shoved on or played back at. I like it because if any of the players behind me wake up with a hand, I'm only losing a couple big blinds, instead of my whole stack and the equity I have in the SNG.
