    Default 15 left in a 2.50/180 man -- thoughts?

Hey Guys, this is cross posted from PTP. There is 15 players left, so they're in the money, but still 6 away from the final table (where the real money is). All players on the 2nd table (iirc) are paid the same amount.

    Thoughts...

guy is running an 8/0 over 11 hands

Well...your not calling that's for sure. I would think his range is any pp, ak-9 at least. You could play it tight and fold....you do have time to wait for a monster, but I think personally I shove and hope he doesn't have jacks or higher! What does stove / wizard say?

Yeah, I think you're range is pretty spot on. He's probably opening up KQ and maybe KJ too -- I might even open wider then this depending on the table.

I don't agree that he's got time to wait for a monster -- he's got less than 10 big blinds, and even less considering there are antes.

I think it's a snap shove. If he can get in here and double his stack, he should be able to final table for sure. I might even shove 8s and 9s here depending on what I think the raiser's range is, and how much fold equity I think I might have (should have some for sure, since the raiser can fold and have a workable stack).

Oh, and don't know about SNG Wiz. I haven't used it for a long time. Once I made the switch to PokerStove, it's all I used.

180 -- 18 cash, 10-18 min cash for double the pay (in this case around $4) and then the payout slowly increases 1-9.

I never played these a lot (90 KOs were much softer on FTP IMO), but as I understand it, the general strategy is to get very aggro on the 2nd to last table since the payouts are the same. These SNGs are so top heavy, so you definitely don't want to try to squeak into the money.
