woah you guys had a huge discussion lol
IMO, either way a shove PF wasn't that great with having still a decent stack to play poker. Flat or 3 bet thats really the only options...? I'd rather lose 25% of my stack and KNOW I'm beat than to shove and get called by a better hand. 25% of the stack really isn't even that much in this case, the blinds are still low where you can get away from the hand and still be able to play poker.

Yeah, we definitely had a chat about it, lol -- good one though. It's how you get better.
As I said above, a shove isn't my first option -- it is what I do before I 3-bet though, just because of stack sizes.
A shove would be waaay better with antes though. Antes would add another 90-220 chips or so, making the pot like 500 chips. A shove would actually be pretty standard in that case (25% of your stack, you only need to win 3/4 times -- you get folds often enough to make that profitable, not to mention the rest of the times you flip).
I think there are more variables when it comes to 3-betting -- probably need to consider image, ranges, history, etc. I know this is only a $3 game, but still worth keeping in mind + you still have regs. And these regs are guys you basically move up with.
Anyway, that's all I'll say on it -- my approach, at least in SNGs, is very math based. At least preflop -- as I improved, my game started to lean towards playing more post flop. With that said though, I also had to cut back my tables.

Moved to SnG/MTT Hand Analysis as River Rats is a "safe zone" where analysis is not requested or desired.
