    Default Eliminated on first hand..

Poor play or bad luck? I limp in late position with intention of set-mining... perhaps my downfall, I flop a set and bet in a manner to get it allin by the river.

This is first hand, so I have no reads, no stats. Range that I put him on was 22,A8,45,88-QQ. I am beating all of these but 88.

Next 90 player SnG I played I was eliminated in 78th place.. on the first hand I saw a flop with!

(I flopped about 15 outs, and got 3.5:1 pot odds to call a 3way allin on turn)

Nothing you can do in the first hand, even Phil Ivey goes broke there

Your actually doing it wrong if you don't go broke there.

That makes me feel much better about the play. I was embarrassed about being first player eliminated, but I couldn't see how I could have put him on 77 calling a raise on the flop OOP.

Even if the raise was bigger, he might still call. The fish are gambooooooolers. Tough man, hard to get away from a set mine.
