    Default Close spot

While playing this I was sure the shove wold be +EV , but wizzard gives up a marginal spot and suggests a fold . Too deep to r/f . Obvious push/fold , not sure it's the best spot I could get .

Wizzard? (been away, forgive the lack of current knowledge on calculators and the such)

Can't not play this here, but your stack is fairly large (for a low M). If you do just raise, you really can't fold, unless, well unless you know your beat.

I think Shoving is a good idea as long as you've been tight so far. If you've shoved a couple times already to build this stack, more likely your going to get called.

Don't think you can't not shove here, so making this a shove. I don't like shoving really, but you don't have any other viable options.

    Edit:

Maybe, just perhaps, limping is an option. Disguises your hand, and your almost sure to get raised, which now truly makes a shove an easy call to make. If it does get checked around, then you can feel out the flop, and shove/fold from there. Hmmmm....... Lemme think on that one. Yeah... I kinda like that route....... Allows you a free pass on a marginally strong hand if you have to get away from it. Weak Tight FTW here! Maybe..... Rare scenario in which I'd play it this way, AKo, AQs, I think it's an easy shove, but with AQo, anything that calls probably has you dominated or you need help to win (like JJ perhaps)

I assume he's on about SNG Wizard.

Unless you're up against a table of donkeys, shoving will likely only get called by something thats beating you. Limping is just horrible at this late stage in any SNG.

I'm prone to raise/calling here as it gives someone else the opportunity to shove their Ax / other random raggedy pretty looking hands which you will be ahead of.
Any hands that will call your shove will also push over the top of your raise so you're in better shape by raise/calling than simply open shoving yourself.

Obviously stats are important here so if the 2/2 nit wakes up after your initial raise, it may be time to have a think about folding.
