Default How did I play my QQ?

Here's one for you. I think I made a good play here.

Main villain had been very active and agressive, lots of pots and steals. SB in this instance was also fairly active, but quite passive. Not one for 3-betting or pre-flop raising.

I'm happy to see the button raise because he's quite active as I said. I think at this point I'm going to shove in a significant raise (putting the message across that I'm happy to be committed i.e. I'm strong), but then the SB limp calls which isn't the best. Now it's a shove for me. Not a fold, obviously. Could've called... but I think I had a good shot at taking the pot preflop with a shove, which would be better than calling and having to negotiate things after the flop.

.... but re-reading that back. Now I'm thinking I maybe overshot it a little. Hmmm...

Regardless, as played I think my read was good and the outcome was unlucky. But perhaps I could've played it better?

You were a 7:3 favorite. I would bet my house given 7:3 odds.

He only needs 39.4% equity to make this call (1125/2850(Total Pot)). He can easily call with a good portion of his raising range, but being an aggressive player in a KO tourney he is going to call with almost everything.

Very easy shove, sorry you lost. Just keep at it man, and don't give up.

You defiantly played it fine and if I were you I would have played it the same.
