Any stats/reads on villain? If not, you played fine imo.

So, an UTG raise, a call by the BB w AJ. If this was a tourney you could have tried to reraise with AJ preflop to try to scare off the UTG raiser. This would give you more of a chance to either win the pot preplop or win the pot after the flop if it comes like it did. After the flop you could lead out as if you had AA, QQ, or KK. If your opponent comes along after the flop then you know for sure that you are beat and you can fold.

Fold pre, UTG range is >= AJ and he will be IP.

Played fine, imo. Think I'd fold AJo though.
