After seeing the action in front of me I honestly would have just waited to shove before the next blinds came around. I know your M sucks, but I'd rather take my chances against just one guy

You did the right thing IMO, too many chips in there to pass up, especially only having ~6 BB. If folded, you would have to make a stand in the next few hands anyway, and might not get anything near as good as AT. You're definitely ahead of BTN's range, and probably ahead of UTG's a fair amount since he likely just wants to bully with his stack.

But by waiting another hand to shove there's also the chance the button is eliminated

Looks marginally cEV+ to me, someone better with these things should tell me if it's -$EV though, interesting spot. What are the stakes?

Easy for me to fold, the worse hand ever for me is A,10.

It was just a 2.20 tourney. I have yet to win a 90 and a 180, Ive been close but not 1st.

I ask because in general the better the BTN is here the weaker holdings he will have (kinda poor assumption but it has some weight), the poorer players will be in this position trying to wait on a AQ+/99+ type hand before they call the shove aiming to drag themselves into second.

Without the BTN calling here it's an easy call, ATo should beat the UTG range if he's anything like as agro as he should be here. The call makes it far more marginal.

I think this is a call.

UTG has shit for a range, since button is SS he figures for a blind pick up here, since you and SB arent commited yet to call him with crap.

Your M is < 4 and it is 4 handed.

Button calling isn't great since he isnt commited to the pot very much, but I still think you beat his range. If button has any brain at all he must figure that UTG has a shitty range, and since button is looking for a double up FAST, i figure hes calling with any ace, pair, and respectable looking face cards.

Definately +EV IMO, if you scoop the hand from both of them you're almost CL, if you lose to button but kill UTG you're about back where you're started. Anything else, you are out of the tourney, but you still might grab 3rd place cash.
