Post a screenshot of your stats from sharkscope here for the SNGs that you play. Even if you dont have a subscription to SS, you can use one of your 5 daily free searches. Write a little something about what games you play and how you got started in poker too.
It doesnt matter if you are a massive losing player, in fact it may be preferable if you are.
I'll come back to this thread in a few days time and see if its worth the time to explain the thread then.

I suck because I've never been bankrolled for any tournament I've ever played.
Basically every SnG I've played has been a multi-table one, usually $4 180s. I tend to play them if I just have like $50 on Stars or whatever, often wind up running it up then cashing out profits and donking off the orignal $50 in $22 tourneys or something. Pretty sure I'd be a winner at $11/180s and lower if I tried, though, judging from the play I've seen in them.Last edited by MJPerry; 10-09-2009 at 12:59 PM.

Multi table sngs=variance
Also, I dont put in a lot of volume

Started playing poker ~3 years ago after watching it on TV. Started playing freeroll, then deposited. Lost that. Redeposited. Lost that. Rinse and repeat. I finally won a $5 mtt and got 2nd in a $10 mtt all within a week. I didnt know about BRM back then. So I took a shot @ 1/2 NL and blew that entire roll within a few days. Redeposited a couple more times. I'm a terrible "gambler". I've made a buddy more money playing than I've made myself. I'm way down overall, no matter what any stats say.
Moral of the story.....disciplineLast edited by sk8freak_21; 10-09-2009 at 10:06 AM.

SNG volume is low here as I play mainly ring, tourney and PLO online.
I got pretty hooked on poker years ago after watching Poker After Dark on TV then I started playing online 5 yrs ago. I was taking a massive beating trying to earn my bonuses faster at the 100NL tables and ended up taking a break because the losses were too big. I made a comeback a few years ago when live pub tournaments became popular and have been playing lots of bricks and mortar poker recently.

You get to post sexy graphs showing how much u rock/how much u suck if u opted in.
You also have the opportunity to possibly get inside the head of a SNG genius if you opt in. If hes not available, possibly my head if it doesnt scare you too much.
If anyone is interested, I will look over a few complete HH from recent SNGs that you have played. I generally play 18man turbos so will look over any 9 man or 18man SNGs, turbo or non-turbo. I'm not entirely happy with my own 45man game so I dont want to spout off bullshit to anyone else about them.
Do I know everything? Hell no.
Do I know more than you already know? No idea. Wheres the harm in finding out though?
What exactly will I do? I will review complete HH of SNG(s) that you have played recently. I will offer up comments and advice based on what I see. Depending on what we think of each other at that stage, we may then watch each other play some evening and generally try to stop sucking at SNGs/start sucking a little bit less.
How much will I charge you for reviewing HH? Nothing. I'm just nice like that.
Why do it if you're not charging for it? I'm just nice like that.
What next? As I said above, depending on how much we hate each other, there may be the possibility of a staking/coaching deal after a HH review and a little bit of chatting on AIM/Skype.
So what do I do now? Request a HH from Stars for a SNG (or 2/3 SNGs) that you would like reviewed. Save it in notepad as a .txt file. Email it to me at the address in my profile. PM me here when you have sent it so I'll know who it belongs to.
And then? Well, then you start winning loadsa SNGs.
Before I do all that, I have a question. This is my post. Ask questions in the next post donk. For the best rakeback rates, greatest choice of poker rooms, more promotions, tournaments and bigger $$$ freerolls than any other rakeback affiliate, visit RakeTheRake, one of the largest and most reputable poker rakeback affiliates in the world.

I am mostly a cash player, but have recently dabbled into some SNG. I am going to start playing them alot for next while, see how I do with volume.
I started with $50 about 1 year ago, play very on and off, up to $350. I play 9 mans and occasional 180.
**after I posted this, I played a 9 table [$2 9-man SNG] session and made a massive $11 profit [$31.25 total]. I only added this to help my horrible graph a tad.Last edited by Mr_Henley; 10-11-2009 at 08:46 PM.
