Was running great in this tournament, then this happened. Think I shot myself in the foot and went in waaaay too hard. Would love to get thoughts on this? Was I right to be out like that on the flop, particularly?PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 2.2 Tournament, 125/250 Blinds 30 Ante (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from Online Texas Holdem Strategy | Play Texas Holdem Online | Poker Forum

Busted out by a flush....

Why not check behind on the river? Were u looking for a call or a fold with ur push?
Theres better mtt players than me here (SFobv) but i cannot understand the river. If u have him crushed, hes not calling. If he hit his flush, ur beat.
Once he limps pf and only calls on the flop, I'd figure he's on some kind of draw or has a smaller pair that he's incapable of laying down. Whether a value bet on the turn and check behind on river or check/check is best, I'm not sure but I'm guessing ur not overly impressed by ur gungho river bet.For the best rakeback rates, greatest choice of poker rooms, more promotions, tournaments and bigger $$$ freerolls than any other rakeback affiliate, visit RakeTheRake, one of the largest and most reputable poker rakeback affiliates in the world.

hmm tough situation. on that flop i dont think i would cbet just check behind...river is a saucy card but i dont think shoving is the best play because its hard to imagine getting much action or value from any hand weaker then the str8 unless you take the man for a scrub.. cant believe he checks the nuts on the river to you after u checkd behind on the turn lol whata superstar

Yeah, I played the river especially really poorly. Should've just checked.
