This is one of those hands where I feel like check/folding flop and turn might be too weak but cbetting the flop doesn't feel good either. Villain is 22/14 and hasn't done anything out of the ordinary so far. I'm 17/9 with 67% cbet.

    Hero (MP2): 5,785
    CO: 1,470
    BTN: 6,230
    SB: 5,040
    BB: 6,410

    Pre-Flop: (300) 9 9 dealt to Hero (MP2)
    2 folds, MP1 calls 200, Hero raises to 800, 3 folds, BB calls 600, MP1 folds

    Flop: (1,900) J T 5 (2 Players)
    BB checks, Hero checks

    Turn: (1,900) T (2 Players)
BB bets 1,000, Hero calls 1,000

    River: (3,900) 3 (2 Players)
BB bets 1,800, Hero calls 1,800

    OK a number of questions:

Was I right in thinking the flop was too dangerous for a cbet considering that 2 overcards and made hands fill much of villains range?

Is the turn call ok or not against his range? After calling I feel pretty committed to calling the river if it bricks like it did here so it's a potentially crippling move.

I think I just fold the turn, you're hand isnt getting much better, there are two overcards JTs and a club draw out, this is an increadably drawy board. Especially vs his range, I can't get away from this one fast enough.

He is only betting 1/2 pot, but I don't think you have the odds to call him here.

yeah, I like the raise pre, but can't check/fold fast enough on that board. Unless you think he's doing this with a smaller PP or air and since you've stated he's a pretty st8 forward player, his bet sizing looks for value. I would be willing to guess that if you had cbet, he's check raising you. fold and keep your chips.
