I don't mind the preflop call, but after flopping just top pair it's about keeping the pot small. You don't wanna get your whole stack in there with just top-pair and no kicker. I think the shove still gets called. A pair, an overcard, as well as a flush draw gives him 14 outs if he's up against top pair unless hes up against AK (at which point he only has 11 outs). 14 outs makes him a slight favorite or 50/50 at the very least. It was also all your chips, not all HIS chips. So no, he's not folding.

Fold pre...why?...you said it yourself..."on this table people were shoving and calling all-ins with suited connectors, and any ace or king." KQ maybe, but your K4s isn't in great shape against this range. 5's have you crushed. Honestly, dude, this is terrible.
