    Default Comments on this hand?

After a year of not playing poker, I am trying to get back into the swing of things. Nice to see some of the same people here.

This is one of the first SnGs in a very long time

After the flop, I was trying to stop the play there. Once he called, I put him on top pair, so I was quiting the hand, and made my trips.

Should I have bet on the turn? I was trying to make him think I was buying the pot. What would normal pratice be in this situation?

I have a feeling that the break has made me rusty.

    Thanks for your comments.

I would normally continue betting this turn. By potting the flop you were representing a better hand than a pair of 2's and so your opponent will most likely call you down again or 3bet on the turn as he wouldn't think this card improved your hand. Then you can continue to extract even more value of the river.
