Villain just got moved to our table 2 hands ago, so no reads. Turn bet looks very weak - middle pair plus some crappy diamond, TPGK and no diamond, or whatever. Could also be a trap. I decided to shove. Correct, or no?

90-Man NFD v. unknown

I fold PF.
Turn is OK because I see a lot of tiny bets with crap, but usually it's a minbet. 2-3xBB is sometimes a monster... or in this case TT :-S

I dunno, if I was at a table full of TAGs, I might think about folding AJo pre, but there were so many loose-passive stations there. I guess since the villain was new at the table, I could have folded, waited until I had more info on him before getting involved in a pot. An UTG min-raise does mean AA quite often, and even though I know he doesn't have the FD to go with it if it is AA, you're not getting a donk like this off rockets, ever. As demonstrated by the fact that he was willing to felt with an underpair and the fourth nut flush draw.
This was a frustrating tournament all around. That AJo was the best hand I ever saw; not a single PP, no AQ/AK... The only good thing that ever happened was I got KQ (can't remember suited or not) the very next hand and nearly tripled up, cause two people called me pre, looking for a knockout bounty, and one of them had K7 and we flopped a K.
After that, though, it was nothing but garbage. Even the table balancing was working against me, dumping me right in front of the blinds at one point with a short stack.
Finally, with 1200 chips left and the blinds at 100/200, I had my first opportunity at a steal when it folded to me in late position with J8o. Of course, the BB had JJ, the absolute worst hand for me to see.
My only consolation is that the donk in the hand posted above busted out before me.

People see you as bluffing so much on these board I tend to play very streight forward.
I recon you have enough of an edge PF not to make this move now.
You do have fantastic odds if called by this kind of hand on the all in, but I think it is just as good to exploit this by calling.
I don't think this is an obvious fold PF as shown with villain happily getting it in with his underpair.
Fwiw, I'm not sure he is folding any pair with a diamond here, prehaps also doesn't realise that his TT has less outs than say A7dx
This the only $24+2 90man you've played out of interest?

I don't usually play MTTs. I've tried a few $11 90-mans and cashed in two, once quite nicely. The $24 ones, I only play when I pick up a token playing the 600 or 1800 FTP satellites when taking a break from playing "for real," like this week. I won 2 out of 5 of 600 FTPs this week... using my second token at the moment... only 12 hands in so far... haven't yet seen anything worth playing. Only saw one flop when I had like A8 or something in the BB and the CO min-raised and SB called....
God, these things are donktastic though. Every hand is like four people to the flop. And given that this is the stuff they're pushing and calling pushes with, what do you think they're raising/limping/calling raises with? Pretty sure AJo is a +EV hand preflop...
Edit: Update... doubled up by calling a raise with 98s and flopping trips vs. villain's AA.

This is frustrating... the blinds are getting huge, I haven't seen a hand in a while, pick up 99 in the BB, and three people go all-in. Most annoying is that I would have won and quadrupled up if I'd called like the rest of the donks.
I dunno, given how pathetic my M is, do I just ship it with these 9s despite an UTG min-raise, a more-or-less pot-committed reraise and an all-in, and hope I'm up against AQ, KQ and 33?
A few hands later, with the blinds at 200/400, I was forced to push with QJo and got called by A8o... didn't get there. Out in 33rd. That's two of these things now in which I've never seen a preflop hand better than AJo or 99, never won a race, won only one showdown (in the two combined), and failed to win even a single knockout bounty, let alone get close to the money. The play is so bad, but there's not much you can do if you don't get a hand, since everyone's all loosey-goosey.

I also lay this down, it's one of those SA/WB situations.
Good to know the players arn't any better at the biggest buyin ones of these, I recon you might be able to make good money playing them.
Haven't gone any higher than the $11 ones as yet.

I like your line!
If he made a standard size bet on the turn I would just fold it.
