Please dont question my preflop play and tell me to fold. Im only interested in the question ive asked. I can raise a lot preflop and not get reraised very often.
Weekly live game down the pub.
Final table.
Play a league structure each 12 weeks, highest 25% of pub go into a regional final once every 3 months. Better position, more points etc etc
8 players left.
I have 14500 chips, blinds are 1000/2000.
Average stack is about 8000 ish.
UTG folds
Im UTG +1 and have
I raise to 4000.
MP reraises to 8000 (He only has 1000 left after this reraise)
everyone folds excepts the CO who calls for 7000 all in.
It folds back to me.
There is 22,000 in the pot if im right.
my 4000, MPs 8000, COs 7000 and the 3000 in blinds.
Im calling 4000 into 22,000 which is 5.5-1
Is this an automatic call?
Any more info please ask.

push preflop or fold. You have like 7 bbs at this point.

People are so much more inclined to bet correctly online just because it shows you what's in the pot, and how much you have, and there's a "Bet Pot" button, etc. Live, even reasonably good players I know tend to make idiot 1/5 pot bets and stuff, because they aren't bothering to count.
But yes, ATs is an autoshove from any position when your M is as low as it is here.

When it's back to you you have 3 choices:
[ ] Fold leaving yourself with 5.5 bbs 2 away from being the bb
[ ] Call and waste time on the other streets with MP having only 1 sb left
[x] Raise, put in 1k more (wait until he calls) flip your cards up and grab a beerLast edited by Pinguaq; 02-19-2009 at 06:32 PM.

My M might be low, but I was actually one of the chip leaders on the final table. Its a poor tournament structure really.
You wouldnt beleive how much respect a raise gets from me and how bad some of these people play postflop.
