Down to two tables and money gos up alot with each guy getting knocked out. Should I wait more time or is this standard at this stage of the tournament?

Your M is what, like 2.5? JJ is an insta-push... but you should have doubled up or busted out long before your stack got that small.

You have like 22BBs and JJ. I suck at MTTs but to me that's an easy all-in.

Dependent on the looseness of table shoving but considering "flu333: calls 455573" with K9 I belive my calling range for a stack that small is 77+ A9+ KJ+

He doesn't have 22 BBs. He has 6, not to mention the antes.

Bah, stupid unconverted clusterfuck of text.

This isn't even a question then. You have 6BBs and the 4th-best hand in NLHE and are considering a fold? Really?

Well I was looking at it as a return on my money thing. The difference between 18th and 15th was like 300 dollars. Just looking at it in a different way thats all. I have seen guys fold big hands to move up in the money on some occasions. Thanks for the imput. I would have loved to double up like xpods said but I played really well while card dead just to get to that point. More practice, I will win one of these in the next two months.

With those blinds and antes, though, you could only survive at most two orbits before going out like Hawthorne's uncle... playing super-tight to get deeper into the payout structure is a strategy that has some merit, but usually only if there's someone even shorter than you. Here, even the next shortest stack can survive one more orbit than you.

On the other hand, JJ has a reasonable chance to double or even triple up here... flu's got a million chips (literally), so you can't assume that he's playing super-tight. Most of the time you're getting a coin-flip from him, and there's a reasonable chance that if another person calls or pushes behind you, they'll both be on some kind of ace, which would make JJ a massive favorite to triple up. At that point, with 20-ish BB in your stack, you're no longer in a desperate situation... THEN you can tighten way the hell up, outwait the shorties, and look for a chance to feed on them if they try to steal when you've got the goods.

I agree with Pods here, maybe you should have pushed long before you got down to 6bb. Imagine if you wouldnt have ran into those queens how pissed you would have been losing to that dudes k9. But in your situation I think its def. a shove and hope that you are atleast a 70-30 favorite. good job on the late finish though. good luck next time
