I always add on... what's the buy-in? After everyone else buys in, what will you position be.

Sorry, one more post...and my BR is 225 I was just playing because I'd never really played huge tourneys before but I'm decent at MTTs.

You are playing way over your bankroll. With a roll of $225, you really shouldn't be playing any MTTs higher than $2 on a regular basis. It's OK to take a shot, but when doing so, make sure you aren't playing a rebuy. IIRC, isn't the standard wisdom to budget 5 buy-ins for a rebuy? (initial, 3 re-buys, and 1 add-on)

Got ya, I just wanted to play a tourney since I'd never played one before or well one other but it wasn't the same. I did alright, no rebuys only 1 addon and made my money back.. but yeah I'm thinking it wouldn't be bad to play one tourney a week like this as long as I'm consistently winning money over the week and building my BR, IDK.

The way I do it is I play as many as I please and when its time to reload I reload. I tried bankroll management slavery and I did not agree with it to much. It's okay that other people do though. I admire that discipline. I would add on. Do you have a decent job? If so treat poker as a hobby and budget it in. They do not offer 2 dollar tournaments at a casino. I wonder if people walk out of the poker room when they find out the tournament they are offering does not agree with their bankroll. Of course not they hit the ATM and play. GL
