Increase PF bet my ass........nothing works. If I would have pushed all in PF I would have still got at least 2 callers.

Would it be so bad to fold everything the first hour?

I've never brought into the whole 'overbet PF' strategy in low-stakes MTTs anyway.
Then again I fucking suck at MTTs.

Well I normally don't. Normally I just bet out 3 or 4x and then I fold to that 100 bet and I normally make out just fine. I play it this way at the advice of people here. Maybe I should stick to my way PF.

I fold the turn. The usual hands that call that big of a PF raise are mid PP, SC, suited aces, and broadway type hands. With a bet and a call, one of them probably has at least a pair, but sets are definitely a possibility, and since an 8 makes a straight, it's just not a good time to be calling with naked overs.
I study at KRE8R's School of Bankroll Management.

even getting 7:1, turn is a snap fold
the way you played the hand made you seem very tilted

The reason to overbet pre is that fish would rather put in the monies behind before the cards come up, their biggest leak is PF therefore that is the time to exploit it.

Folding everything for the first hour is horrible, really horrible.

I don't play AQ until the blinds are worth attacking. In the first few stages I simply try to see cheap flops with pairs 22-JJ, and bigger SCs 9T+. other than that I over-bet QQ-AA giving 7 to 1 implied odds to my opponents at best.
In fact, his call with 8T isn't that bad, he's getting 10 to 1. Again, cut down the table talk. And I agree, how the hell are you calling on the turn?????Read my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog
