at this level, i dont like pushing this here as you're likely to be called by the limper or the sb and ur putting it all on the line with a decent stack with a pretty raggedy A.

Id be happier to wait for the blinds to pass and then push when ur first in the pot.

7BBs is a decent stack in terms of feeling like we need to shove before we're blinded out. Im comfortable letting myself get down to 3.5/4BBs before i get desperate.

The best play, I think, is to check PF, then shove the flop if SB checks.

I know you have recently been watching me play and see me do this sort of thing constantly but the effective stacks aren't deep enough to shove here. When people limp in with less than 10bb they generally don't fold to a shove unless they are god awful, in which case I would have shoved with A8 because the sb is never calling.

you got the right idea though. accumulation!
