Is anyone against a shove PF instead of raising to 700?

It seems to me that by raising to 700 (1/3 of our stack), we are all-in regardless of the flop, so why not maximize fold equity here?

u nearly have to push pf here as any decent sized raise is leaving u committed to calling the flop no matter what comes......theres also 550 in the pot already so ur gonna increase ur stack by 25% just by pushing here and having it fold round again and to be honest, ur likely to get at least one caller at that level (an innocent observation rather than an obnoxious one) which is also a nice result.

We want to maximise fold equity when we have KK because...?

There's already $550 in the pot and the BB is only 100. I prefer to take this now than end up all in HU against AT

Am I misreading the hand? This is a King and a King? Cowboys? The second nuts?

Why is winning $550 now preferable to stacking AT 66% of the time?

ya i agree, we should fold out all worse hands. no point gambling when we might lose a showdown and all of our chips.
