    Default Best play here?

    single table 6-max SnG, we're 5-handed. blinds are 25/50
    Villain (UTG) has 1305 chips
    Hero (Button) has 1510

    I'm on the button with : :
after blinds post, Villain min raises to 100
CO folds, I call, SB folds, BB folds.

    Flop is : : :

    Villain bets 275

    Hero: ???

Im pretty sure re-raise is in order here, so I guess what i'm asking is what a proper bet size would be, or maybe even a push (considering my stack size)?

I dont know the exact stats but Villain is a typical call/fold type, almost never raises (like i'd say he's around 45/5 maybe less than 45 but a lot of calls), but when he does its always a min raise. i could see him min raising with A6 here possibly, but I think he would have called with that hand...he'd probably have raised 66 here, but that's just one hand.

I would min raise and see if he just calls it. If he reraises i would be hard pushed to call him.

no more strategy posts for you please, ty

    OP,

Fold preflop. Sure it's only 100, but in reality you do not have enough chips behind to make this call profitably.

Nope. If you and he had stacks of like 2500*, then calling preflop is fine. As played, effective stacks are 1305 and most of the time you'll flop nothing and fold. Also, if he's only raising 5% of his hands, AK and maybe AQ are all that you beat.

    * I don't know if 2500 effective stacks would be good enough, but just making the point that bigger eff. stacks are necessary.

After a raise, you only want to be playing strong hands. If he didn't raise, then it would be perfectly acceptable to raise with your JTs. But calling a raise (or re-raising) with JTs at this stage isn't a good play.

So you're in for $100, you want to give him $550 more then fold after spewing 1/3 of our chips on what is marginially a marginal hand (post I wouldnt even call this marginal)

Fold pf... when you get were you on on flop, fold to raise and next remember to fold pf.

There are a few flops you really like with TJs, but this is not one of them
