Default Are we ever folding this?

Trying not to be results oriented, but are we ever folding this? My read on my opponent is that he's fairly tight, but doesn't understand all-in or fold when short-stacked. Of course, we've only been heads-up for a few hands, which means that read is almost useless. He seems somewhat aggro pre-flop heads up, but folded to my 1 flop bet and 1 turn bet.

So my question is... Are we ever folding this push? (I'm thinking no.)

Yes. Overpair, flush suck out, lots of things to not like about this hand.

Easy call off. How often does he have specifically 78 or 77 which are about the only 2 hands that have us in that bad of a shape.
Even if you knew he had an overpair you're still calling with those odds and the fact you still have 17bb or so left if you lose the hand anyway.

I'm basically a coinflip dog to an overpair or 2 clubs.

I'm also getting 1.8 to 1 on a call. The only hands that wouldn't be +cEV to call are 44,55,66,77,88,87, and 37.

fold (once he raises) preflop, your call is very spewey and bad

and call the flop. you called a raise with 76o 20bb's effective and you don't want to play for stacks on the flop? wtf were you hoping for calling preflop if you don't stack off on this board heads up, LOL

I typed that wrong. Those are the hands he could have that would make it -cEV for me. Those hands make be a 3 to 1 dog or worse.

Is the PF call really that bad? Costs me 400 to call, pot has 850 in it. Just over 2 to 1 pot odds. Give him a range of any pair, any broadway, any Ax, and any Kx, and he is 63-37. And of course, most flops, we just check-fold this anyway.

Heads up... your relative stacks... no one can say "bad call" without watching 10+ hands previous to this and analysing a pattern. Calling was not wrong without further information.
